Unfortunately, I’m sure many of us can relate to this.
Whenever you open up, tell someone what’s going on, ect., you are facing fear itself.
What if they hate me?
What if they leave me?
What if they don’t want to help me?
What if I’m really that bad?
What if they hurt me?
If you are a danger to yourself, want to die, or you feel like you’ve given up, get help. Talk to someone. Anyone.
Call a friend. A relative. Talk to a co-worker.
If you don’t feel comfortable, call a hotline.
Don’t let the ‘what ifs’ get in the way of seeking help.
No one is more important in your life but yourself.
I normally wouldn’t even say things like this, but you really have to think about it.
What were to happen if everyone in your life disappeared?
What if all your emotional ‘rocks’ and your spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends, ect… What if they leave you?
You have to be emotionally healthy enough to be able to deal with it. You will have to be strong enough to handle any situation that comes along.
Suicide is never an option. It’s giving up, and nothing is worth than giving up on your own life.
So don’t be afraid.
Never be afraid to ask for help. Never be afraid to open up to other people, no matter how hard it is.
If someone judges you, and walks away from you because of it…
They were never meant to be in your life anyway.
